ParentPulse is designed to minimize sensitive information. The first release focuses on category-level activity and duration, not the contents of what a child reads or writes.

What we plan to collect

• Parent and child account information needed to create a family link.
• Device registration and heartbeat information.
• Category, normalized domain, active duration, and timestamps.
• Aggregated daily and weekly summaries.

What we will not collect

• Passwords, keystrokes, screenshots, page contents, or private messages.
• Microphone, camera, or unrelated files.
• Public profiles, public leaderboards, or behavior-based advertising data.

Before any real child activity is collected, ParentPulse will implement parental consent, data export, deletion, retention controls, and a security review.
